Day-by-Day Itinerary

• D1

  DAY 01 - Arrival & Mountain Drive

  The Journey - From Chandigarh, the drive takes approximately 3.5 to 4 hours via the Himalayan Expressway. From Delhi, expect a 7 to 8-hour journey. Optional Stop - Visit the Pinjore Gardens or enjoy a cable car ride at Timber Trail, Parwanoo, located on the way. Evening - Check into your hotel and enjoy a quiet evening overlooking the valley.

  DAY 02 - Heritage of the Queen of Hills

  Spend the day exploring the colonial charm and pedestrian-friendly streets of Shimla. The Ridge - is the heart of the city, offering panoramic views of the snow-capped mountain ranges. Mall Road - Walk through this bustling commercial hub to visit the Christ Church and the Gaiety Heritage Cultural Complex Jakhu Temple - Hike or take the ropeway to the highest point in Shimla to see the giant Hanuman statue and enjoy bird's-eye views of the town.

  DAY 03 - The Royal Retreat of Chail

  Take a day trip to Chail (approx. 45 km from Shimla), known for its thick forests and royal history. Chail Palace - was built in 1891 as a summer retreat for the Maharaja of Patiala and features beautiful architecture and sprawling lawns. World’s Highest Cricket Ground - Visit the historic Chail Cricket Ground, perched at an altitude of 2,444 meters. Kali Ka Tibba - A hilltop temple offering 360-degree views of the Shivalik Range.

  DAY 04 - Meadows & Greens (Mashobra & Naldehra)

  Head north of Shimla to discover quieter, more nature-focused destinations. Carignano Nature Park - in Mashobra is an ideal spot for a morning stroll among cedar and oak trees. Naldehra Golf Course - is a stunning 18-hole course surrounded by deodar trees, conceptualized by Lord Curzon. Kufri Fun World - is nearby if you are traveling with family and looking for adventure rides or a visit to the Himalayan Nature Park.

  Day 05 - The Apple Heartland (Narkanda)

  A slightly longer drive (65 km from Shimla) takes you to the serene heights of Narkanda. Hatu Mata Temple, Narkanda - sits atop [Hatu Peak]t is a beautiful wooden temple and the highest point in the region, providing a breathtaking view of the inner Himalayas. Orchards - Drive through the famous apple and cherry orchards of the area. Tani Jubbar Lake:* A peaceful, small lake surrounded by trees, perfect for a short break before heading back to Shimla for your final night.

  Day 06 - Homeward Journey

  After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin the descent. Drop-off - You will be dropped back at the airport or railway station in Chandigarh or Delhi, marking the end of your Himalayan circuit.
