Day-by-Day Itinerary

• D1

  Day 01 - The Soul of Old & New Delhi

  Morning: Red Fort & Chandni Chowk:- Start at the: Red Fort (Lal Qila)*, the primary residence of Mughal Emperors for 200 years. Take a rickshaw ride through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest markets in India. Visit: Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, offering a panoramic view of the old city. Afternoon: Imperial New Delhi:- Drive past the Rashtrapati Bhavan (President's House) and Parliament House. Stop at: India Gate*, the war memorial arch, for photos and a walk along the Kartavya Path. Evening: Spiritual Serenity:- Visit the Lotus Temple, famous for its flower-like shape and peaceful atmosphere.

  Day 02 - Architectural Marvels & Transit to Agra

  Morning: Minarets and Gardens:- Visit: Qutub Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore: Humayun’s Tomb, the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent and a precursor to the Taj Mahal. Afternoon: Drive to Agra:- Depart for Agra via the Yamuna Expressway(approx. 3.5–4 hours). Evening: Mehtab Bagh:- Arrive in Agra and visit Mehtab Bagh(The Moonlight Garden) at sunset. This park sits directly across the Yamuna River from the Taj Mahal, providing a stunning, crowd-free view of the monument as the light changes.

  Day 03 - The Crown of Palaces & Fortified History

  Sunrise: The Taj Mahal:- Visit the Taj Mahal at dawn. Seeing the white marble transition from soft grey to golden pink is the definitive Agra experience. Late Morning: Agra Fort:- Explore the massive red sandstone Agra Fort, a UNESCO site. Walk through the Diwan-i-Aam and Diwan-i-Khas, and see the Musamman Burj where Emperor Shah Jahan spent his final years. Afternoon: The "Baby Taj" & Local Crafts:- Visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah*, often called the "Baby Taj" for its intricate marble inlay work. Browse local markets famous for Pietra Dura (marble inlay art) and leather goods. Evening: Cultural Show (Optional):- Attend the "Mohabbat-the-Taj" live show depicting the love story behind the monument.

  Day 03 - The Ghost City & Departure

  Morning: Fatehpur Sikri:- Drive 40km from Agra to Fatehpur Sikri, the short-lived capital of Emperor Akbar. Explore the Buland Darwaza (the highest gateway in the world), the Panch Mahal, and the tomb of Salim Chishti. Afternoon: Return Journey:- Head back toward Delhi. Evening: Final Stop & Drop:- Brief stop at Akshardham Temple in Delhi (time permitting) for its stunning carvings and water show before heading to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
